The third professionally produced Japanese animation film (made by Japanese animation pioneer Shimokawa Hekoten) to be shown in a cinema, in this case, in the Asakusa Kinema Kurabu, a theater in Tokyo managed directly by the film company Tenkatsu (Tennen-shoku Katsudou Shashin).
