Underdeveloped in all aspects,the film is curtailed long before it can become particularly emotionally engaging. Interesting ideas wasted.

Makoto's signature is undeniable. Animation, setting and soundtracks are as good. The story I didn't like but these are my personal tastes!

It's alright for one of Shinkai's early works it had trouble knowing what it wanted to be but great animation and visuals as always.
