Being born and raised in Canada, I wasn't introduced into anime until November of 2020. I had heard of it before, but I was very simple minded and hated on everyone who watched it and thought of them as nerds. But after watching Naruto, I understood that anime isn't just for kids and the ideas and the content are targeted towards teenagers and above the most. That is why I fell in love with anime.
