I love action anime, but I’ll watch at least one episode of something someone suggests. I mostly rate my anime based on how much I enjoyed it, and rarely any other factors. Ultimately things like art, sound, story, etc. just affect enjoyment. I try not to rate anything above a 7 as that is around what I consider good enough. I am prone to changing my ratings as I watch an anime, or whenever I reevaluate how I feel about an anime.
