    Sister Princess good

Sister Princess is a 26 episode series based on the light novels, and subsequent video games, of the same name.  The adaption is from Zexcs, also known as "that company that made My-Hime and Da Capo", and barely follows the already somewhat lose plot of the original. That being said, it's actually not that bad.

The premise of Sister Princess is, you got Wataru Minakami, this ordinary guy, well, as ordinary as you can be for being rich and a total loser, that fails the exams …

    Sister Princess: Re Pure good

Sister Princess RePure is strange in that it is a psuedo-sequel. It was released a year after the original Sister Princess, and was made by the same studio, ZEXCS. It is often purported as a direct continuation of Sister Princess as such, but this is not entirely true for several reasons. For one, RePure makes little to no mention to the events of the previous Sister Princess. Secondly, Wataru Minakami is no longer the main character, and many side characters from the …

Eiken: Eikenbu yori Ai wo Komete awful

A comedy, harem, ecchi series of two OVAs based on the manga of the same name, Eiken is, to put it bluntly, over-the-top, offensive, garbage. Now, I do enjoy a good ecchi anime every now and again, and there are actually quite a few top-notch and highly enjoyable anime that can get quite raunchy. Unfortunately, Eiken fails in all aspects and ends up as bottom-of-the-barrel fish paste not worthy of being called fish paste.

Eiken's plot would make more sense had one come in …

    Koi Kaze good

When it comes to anime, incest is a subject often treated as nothing more than an excuse for fan-service. From Kiss x Sis to Onii-chan no Koto nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne!!, incest is often treated as a joke or as fetish fuel much to others' pleasure or chagrin depending on one's views. Koi Kaze, however, treats incest in a serious and analytical manner, far different from many other anime that deal with the subject, and in doing so, manages to become an often …

    Boku no Pico awful

    It's a TRAP!

Boku no Pico, one of the most infamous, not just anime, but things, out there. Used as bait for the uninitiated and less knowledgeable, and for the laughs of those whom know exactly what it is, Boku no Pico is precisely what the series is about, a trap. In advanced notice, this review shall contain spoilers and is from the perspective of a heterosexual male. This will be a serious review, well, as serious as one about yaoi hentai(spoilers!) could be.
    The story …

    Hyouka good
    Yeah, it's kinda like that.
Hyouka is a 2012 animated adaption of a mystery novel by the same name. Handled by the masters of moe themselves, Kyoto Animation, and directed by Yasuhiro Takemoto. At first glance, Hyouka seems to be just another slice-of-life - a charming and somewhat melancholic show to use as a brief escape from the humdrum and dillydallies of ordinary life, but don't let looks deceive you. Hyouka goes further than just a slice-of-life, and is actually …
