The first arc is interesting but the antagonist was completely unlikable, the second was cheesy romance, and the third saved this series

definitely not your typical horror. it's an enchanting, vivid, and dark journey into the estranged parts of pre-modern japanese society.

Fun to see the origin of Mononoke! The other stories were interesting as well, but Mononoke was definitely the stand out

3 short stories on human nature, no necessary right or wrong. Great OST

I love how each story has a different art style. Especially the third one, which seemed halfway between anime style and kamishibai style.

One of my favourite animes due to its amazing painting inspired art style, classical Japanese music and traditional stories. Demons & ghosts

Love the samurai stories, but not that scary. The Mononoke story (3rd one) is fantastic though, & it has it's own series, yay! Fun watch.
