The best entry in the entire Eva series. It hits all the good points that make a sequel fantastic and triumphs over the original series.

Like the new take on the plot, however I don't like it as much as the original series + EoE. Still worth watching if you're a huge fan.

It's basically a fanservice movie. Everything is condensed, flashier, and shallower. Rei gets a character though. Everyone else more boring.

New character shows up randomly... and I guess we're supposed to just accept that. Story pacing felt off as well, not as coherent.
