Southern_Writeoffs #7: Black Lagoon

I could talk about Black Lagoon’s penchant for violence and balls-to-the-wall action scenes. It has plenty of both. I could talk about the Lagoon company or the city of Roanopur and how every character in this show has their own distinct personality and makes the entire cast memorable. This is true. I’m going to focus on the ideological component of the show, though. The two ideologies in question are nihilism and existentialism.
