Southern_Writeoffs #12: Fate/Zero

It is safe to say that I am a fan of Gen Urobuchi. Fate/Zero was one of his creations, and it shows. Dark themes? Check. Lots of death? Check. Deconstructions of utilitarianism? Double check. The Fate franchise is one of my favorites because of this entry. Since we know how this series ends (if, like me, you watched DEEN’s adaptation of Fate/Stay Night), one can only watch as the modern Greek tragedy plays out. Each character has their own philosophy on how to live life. Each character has tragic flaws, but are three-dimensional and likable, making their downfall that much more painful to watch.
