Attack on titan is a very good (albeit sometimes a bit depressing) anime.  A good story, fun characters and beautiful animation make this a great series to get you started

Soul Eater is a very funny anime with funny characters, a good story, and a definite sense of not taking itself seriously in the slightest.  In short, flipping hilarious!

Persona 4 The Animation is not only a faithful adaptation to the game, but a great anime in general.  The characters are fun yet complex, the plot deep yet light-hearted, and the animation (like how it's animated not the title) is very good.

This is a first draft review as I've only watched 2 episodes but so far it seems to bear strong resemblances to attack on titan (which I really liked) except imo it just seems a bit... better... the main character isn't full of rage to the point of mental disability and the plot is just a bit more my thing, not a very good review but basically this seems like it's going to shape up to be a very good show.

It's rare that you see something with an interesting sci-fi premise like this with such a sad atmosphere.  Which makes plastic memories all the sadder when you do watch it.  Very good so far (review written at episode 5), interesting story, good animation, fun characters, all add up to a very enjoyable show.

Blue Exorcist is an incredibly anime with characters who are interesting and interact with each other in a realistic way, and has a great storyline with stunning fight scenes to boot.  All in all, I give this anime an 8/8, truly great.

It has a complex/well-done plot, deep/interesting characters, time travel, and a psychotic game in which the reward is godhood. Why would you not watch this? If I could then I would give this a 64 out of 8.

I decided to watch this anime as it is set in the same universe as Steins;Gate, and I love Steins;Gate. Gurren Lagann is a beautifully animated mecha series with some epic fight scenes and some great characters.  Also the quotes are brilliant.  But seriously, who do you think you are if you haven't watched this? Believe in the me who believes in this anime.
