    Hellsing Ultimate good

Nazis. I was on the edge of my seat to find out whether they were the good guys or the bad guys and was surprised they were interested in the occult, because this theme hasn't been done to death.

In honesty, the art style is so beautiful and detailed, the animation is good and the characters interesting. Plenty of action, big guns and gushing blood.

Listen to the English dub to hear European accents butchered and to experience Integra's great voice caressing your ears.

    Golden Boy great

A quotable ecchi harem anime even haters of this genre can enjoy. Dub is a must for Kintaro's vocal effects.

    Prison School good

Toilet humour at its finest. I'm glad the makers of this series took it seriously, producing great character designs, exhilarating suspense and masterful panty shot perspectives.

    5 Centimeters Per Second good

Breathtakingly beautiful art and animation, and an infuriating story about two people who grow apart when they move away from each other, despite the fact that they're in love. I don't buy it. They live in Japan, a small and well-developed country, that has bullet trains. People are known to have travelled further, for less of an incentive than being with the person you love.

    Ikoku Irokoi Romantan meh

Ranmaru thinks of himself as the quintessential Japanese man. Albert is a keen appreciator of all things Japanese. Oh yeah. What starts out as a promising story descends into tiresome BL tropes: yakuza, kidnapping, sexual assault.

Kono Danshi, Mahou ga Oshigoto Desu. good

A feast for the eyes with a stand-out art style. A simple, sweet story about two guys with very different approaches to their life and work. I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would a barely-animated 4 episodes.

    Super Lovers meh

Super Lovers or Child Grooming the Anime begins with the interesting premise of patchwork families, of how Haru's and Ren's childhoods have shaped their personalities: Haru's over-caring nature belies his craving for acceptance and Ren is fiercely independent but socially inept. It then chucks this theme out of the window in favour of shota smut. And I couldn't stop watching it. Because I'm a terrible human being. If you are a terrible person too, you will enjoy this anime.

    Kirepapa. meh

A tongue-in-cheek parody of BL anime. It's cringey but deliberately so.

    Boku no Sexual Harassment awful

Does what it says on the tin. Poor Mochizuki can't catch a break and I kept watching just to assure myself he would be ok in the end. He isn't. And it's not worth watching. Unless you enjoy suffering.

    Kimera meh

Have you ever wondered how terrible anime can get? Kimera will show you how. In English dub, of course. Absolutely worth watching.
