Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! good

When it comes to anime, the variety that I’ve seen is a bit limited. With that said Watamote is the first anime of its kind that I’ve come across.

    Story:
The story revolves around Tomoko. A socially awkward high school student who has come to realize that she is not as popular as she initially thought she was. Deciding to make a change for herself, Tomoko sets out on a mission to become popular and make some friends. Her inability to communicate with others and delusional …

    Highschool of the Dead good

If you came with high expectations of an in depth story, and well developed characters, you are going to have a bad time.

The story in High School of the Dead is pretty basic. It centers on a group of survivors from Fujimi High School who band together and set off to find their families. That’s pretty much it. Sure there are a few underlying themes, but for the most part, the story is pretty generic.

The animation is well done. The scenery is great, and the action …

Maoyu ~ Archenemy & Hero good

This dialogue heavy anime is set in a medieval world, and follows the story of a Hero and the Demon King.

With hopes of bringing about an end to a war between Humans and Demons; a group of heroes is sent out to infiltrate the demon realm and kill the Demon King. On their way, the main character, Hero, abandons his group and heads off on his own to slay the Demon King. Much to his surprise, upon arriving at the castle he finds a crimson haired beauty who happens to be none …

    Log Horizon good

Before I start, I will admit that I was a bit skeptical about Log Horizon. Before watching the first episode and not knowing anything about this series, I just pegged it as some anime meant cash in on the popularity of its predecessor “Sword Art Online”. Other than the premise of gamers being stuck inside an MMO, Log Horizon is nothing like SAO.

The main premise behind Log Horizon is that 30,000 gamers are trapped within the world of Elder Tale, a best-selling MMORPG. …

    Amagami SS good

After two years, Junichi Tachibana still gets depressedaround the holiday season as it brings up painful memories of being stood up onChristmas Eve. The story follows Junichi as he moves on and is able to findlove once again (multiple times).

This anime consists of 25 episodes and it follows a rathersimple and formulaic “visual novel route” type format. The anime is split upinto 6 arcs each being 4 episodes each, with the final episode being a bonusepisode.  Each arc …

    Log Horizon 2nd Season good

    -review still under construction-

Rather than giving a proper explanation of the show’s premise, I’ll just skip to the meat of the review, as I assume you have at least seen the first season.

Log Horizon 2 manages to retain some of its charm from the first season, however this continuation is not without its flaws, and there are plenty.

The show starts off right where the first season ended. However in terms of story and pacing, it is not as consistent as the previous …

    Love Live! Sunshine!! meh

The story follows a group of 9 girls as they embark on a journey to from their own school idol group "Aquors" and compete in a nation wide school idol competition known as "Love Live".

There is a lot to be said about this particular installment to the franchise, much of which is delves deep within spoiler territory. So if you haven't seen the series yet, its best to turn away now.

Previous seasons of this franchise are not what you would consider masterful story …
