We all knew how it was going to end. At least the ones who played or read about the second game did (like myself). Even then, this anime left me with the desire to watch the next episode so bad. Guys, that was despair. I thoroughly enjoyed this anime: plain great. Also, #ChiakiBest

There are very little zombie themed anime, and even fewer that are good and rely on plot on itself to draw viewers (HOTD, I'm looking at you). This anime gets you involved, gets you to feel. Too good, too (bittersweet)sweet. I love it.
A Christmas story that deals with tougher or themes more mature than usual, but does so elegantly. Feels good to watch.

Bear no prejudice, there’s so much more to this anime than meets the eye. It’s enjoyable, it’s about the relationships between characters, it’s about feeling at home with who you are with.
A different take on the fantasy setting, given it usually gets on a light tone or themes. This anime is at its strongest, so I'd say, when it hits dark themes or scenarios. A light novel adaptation (it usually implies a large cast of female characters), this anime does a good job at delivering your usual fantasy world but it gives it a twist (showing that world is not as lighthearted as you think it'd be).
